For as long as I can remember, I struggled with muscle imbalances, especially in my glutes. For years I tried everything. I worked with trainers, asked every question I could think of, and followed every program I was given. And every single time, I got the same generic answers. Progressive overload. Eat more protein. Just be consistent. Nobody was actually listening. Nobody had real answers. And nothing ever changed.
It wasn’t until I connected with a trainer who had a master’s in kinesiology that my entire world opened up. For the first time, someone was talking about biomechanics, movement dysfunction, and why my body wasn’t responding, and it changed everything. I realized this was the missing conversation in the fitness space, and I knew I wanted to be the one to have it.
I immersed myself in biomechanics, kinesiology, and corrective exercise, not just to fix my own body, but to fill the gap I wish had existed for me. Because I know what it feels like to have tried everything and still have no answers. And I never want another woman to feel that way.
